We are an out-of-network provider. Payment is required in full at the time of the session. Some insurance plans offer out-of-network coverage. If your insurance offers this benefit, your provider will reimburse you for a percentage of the cost of service. Typically, insurance providers  reimburse 50-80% of session costs. Insurance plan coverage varies widely, so it is recommended that you check with your provider to determine your plans out-of-network coverage and  reimbursement rates.

Aceso will provide a  "superbill" for submission to your insurance provider that lists your diagnosis and other information required by your insurance upon request if you do wish to seek reimbursement .

In choosing Aceso Psychotherapy, you are selecting a customized higher level of service that is not dictated by the constraints of in-network managed care. With Aceso, you control your confidentiality and specifically what information is released to your insurance. This also allows for greater autonomy of the therapist and client to determine treatment planning and modality of services best suited for your individual needs,  thus giving minimal influence to your insurance provider over your course of treatment. In addition, insurance providers require a diagnosis and maintain client records, which may not be beneficial to some of our clients based on their preference, profession or other factors.
